By accessing or using the Ilmagora browser extension and associated services (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Ilmagora provides a research utility sidebar designed to: (i) search YouTube™ videos, (ii) extract video transcripts and comments, and (iii) facilitate the injection of this data into your preferred AI chat interface. As a Beta product, the Service is provided for testing and feedback purposes and may be subject to frequent updates or changes without prior notice.

2. General Conditions / Access and Use

  • Lawful Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable data, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
  • Third-Party Terms: You acknowledge that your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of the platforms you interact with, including the YouTube™ Terms of Service and the terms of your AI chat provider (e.g., OpenAI).
  • Restrictions: You shall not sublicense, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service. You may not use the Service in any manner that interferes with the integrity or performance of YouTube™ or the AI chat interface.

3. Proprietary Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (including software, logos, and trademarks) belong exclusively to Ilmagora. YouTube™ is a trademark of Google Inc., and Ilmagora claims no ownership over third-party trademarks or the video content processed through the Service.

4. Your Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the data (transcripts, comments, and summaries) you extract or post through the Service. You represent that you have the necessary rights to use this content for your personal research. Ilmagora does not monitor or store your extracted content on our servers.

5. Termination

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason without prior notice or liability.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. ILMAGORA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR VIRUS-FREE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ILMAGORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

8. DMCA (Copyright Infringement)

Ilmagora respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with a written notification as required by the DMCA at our contact email listed below.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of Belgium, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Brussels, without regard to principles of conflicts of law.
